Mother Teresa said “Don’t ever invite me to an antiwar protest.” She knew the perpetual effect of our thoughts and actions, and going against war wasn’t the way she rolled, pro-peace rallies were her thing. True activism from our true authentic self requires that there be no division in us as individuals. Before stepping out into the world in sacred activism, one must purify their motives or be part of the problem. As well as looking after ourselves, its important to look after those living beings without voices who are just as deserving of wellbeing. So do it for the love of your cause (in this case, our oceans), do it for all living things and be a warrior of light!
The original painting was created using synthetic polymer on canvas and was sold on the opening night of the Soul Purpose exhibition. It is now held in a private collection.
